Settings in use
- Signals from TradingView (OANDA H1) sent by webhook to the MT5 bot
- Lot sized from the system risk; if it comes out below 0.01, 0.01 is used (skipped if 0.01 lot would lose more than 8%)
- Total open risk capped at 15% · no new trades once the account falls to $500
- Every trade has an SL at the broker · magic 370037, separate from other systems
What to expect
- About 4 trades a week, median hold 11–12 hours
- Almost half of all months lose money (53–55% of months were profitable in testing); profit comes from a few good months
- Even a good system can lose over short periods: chance of being down after 1 month 46%, 3 months 25%, 12 months 3% (simulated)
- Allow at least 6–12 months before judging whether it behaves as tested
How to verify
- Myfxbook verifies the track record and trading privileges directly with the broker
- The bot logs every trade with a daily verification hash chain so history cannot be edited
- Every trade links back to its TradingView signal by the same trade ID used on the trades pages
